When your business is small, you may have opened business bank accounts with a high street bank. As your business, it will be beneficial for you to switch over to a bank account that provides a high interest rate and services that can help you in managing your expenses easily. Here’s what your existing bank should do if you desire to switch the banking account of your business:

Your existing bank should provide information about your standing orders and direct debits to the new bank in which you want to open an account. This should be completed within 3 days after getting the request order.

Your existing bank account should be closed as soon as possible and should not charge you closing fees.

You should ask your existing bank to pass the credit history and other related information to the new bank.

Your new bank should help you in understanding the bank account transfer process and also let you know the time it will take to complete the process. It should also provide detailed information about its features and offers.

Once your application is approved, your new bank account should be accessible to you within a time span of 10 days.

No matter how hard we may try to follow the golden rule of making sure that our expenses does not exceed the amount of money we earn, we fail to follow to it and find our salaries ending several days before the month comes to end. However, if we have pending payments such as credit card bills, phone bills, etc, we can find ourselves in a financially tight situation.
